Hi guys.
Planning on travelling next Tuesday (26th)
Arriving in Leeds before 1pm, going on to Sheffield arriving for 17:30, and leaving again after 20:30.
Help!!!! Thanks :)
Afternoon.
On Monday I have a trial at a well known coffee shop chain at their Liverpool Lime Street based shop.
If all goes well, will this make it any easier to find employment with an actual TOC?
Heyho!
A friend of mine is travelling from Liverpool to Canterbury on Friday 15th October, returning Monday morning.
I can travel for free on Virgin services (so can she if she's with me) so I think the cheapest option is London Stns > Canterbury Stns for £25.20
Can anyone do any better?
Bonjour :)
On Monday, I'm travelling from Euston to Warrington via Wolverhampton.
I have a ticket from Watford Junction to Warrington, but nothing between EUS and WFJ.
If I buy a single, can I jump on the train as normal, bearing in mind that it stops at Watford to PICK UP ONLY
Many thanks
A friend of mine needs to go to Eccles and back 5 times a week for the next 11 months.
A season ticket is coming out at £2396 which, let's be honest, is a lot!
Is there anyway of doing this cheaply? He has a railcard, but it can't be used on a season ticket!
Morning!
In a few weeks, I'm travelling from Liverpool to New Beckenham to referee a match. My train will arrive into Euston early on a Sunday morning. I then need to travel from Euston to New Beckenham.
After the match, I'll be meeting some friends in Central London for a meal (but I don't...
As long it's true, and awesome, it belongs in this thread!
I'll start:

Your go!
Bonsoir!
On Saturday night, I'm travelling to Birmingham Intl to catch a flight. I have a Traveller ticket (same restrictions as Advance) on the 2142 from Warrington BQ to Birmingham NS (arriving 2300).
I now want to travel from Liverpool South Parkway to Wrexham, before connecting with the...
I am just about to finish my A Levels and really don't fancy university.
I'd love a job on the railway as I think I'd be really good in any customer facing role. Whilst I have 5 years experience refereeing and have lots of awesome things to write about it, but for every place I apply for...
Get comfy, this is a long one:
Using my traveller membership with Virgin, I'm allowed a return journey to anywhere on their network once per weekend all year.
Yesterday lunchtime, I rang up to book tickets for Liverpool L St to London Euston, travelling out on the 0748 on Fri-03-Sep and...
Hi.
I'm not interested in watching or spotting trains, and I'm not interested in architecture. I'd love to go on a day trip to somewhere with stunning scenery, or a decent attraction within walking distance.
Examples are Oxenholme Lake District or Cuddington.
I think the more remote the...
Not the most glamorous location, but due to a check in deadline of 6am, I'll be spending 6 hours in International station/airport in a few weeks time.
Don't suppose anybody knows anything I can do besides read my book and race the suitcase trolleys against one another?
Howdy y'all!
I've been drafted in to referee a rather massive football competition in Gerona (Costa Brava) in a few weeks.
I need to be in Gerona by 3pm on Sunday 27th
As my Traveller membership will have come through by then (I hope) I should be able to travel on Virgin's rail network...
Tomorrow, I'm up bright and early for the 0647 from Liverpool L St to Norwich.
Yes, I'm on an EMT 158 for nearly 6 hours.
Has anybody done this before? Is it really as bad as I think it'll be? Worse? Am I better off walking?
Answers on a postcard!
Read in Liverpool Central yesterday that there'll be no trains at all between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Central between 24th July and the 27th August!! What on earth requires closing the entire line for 5 weeks??
Hello :)
Well, I got through to the penultimate stage of my ATC assessment. After sending me to Prestwick for stage 1, it's Swanwick for stage 2.
I need to travel down any time on Thursday 20th May and return AFTER 5pm on Friday 21st May.
I'd prefer to go via London, but obviously will...
