Obviously with part of the train on its side it could need a crane to move it, so where is the nearest crane, and where would it come from and considering the location of the incident is it easy for a crane to get to the location?

Seems a derailment has happened at Newton Heath's Dean Lane Depot this morning and is causing some problems to services in and out off Manchester Victoria, not to sure which unit is involved though.
Why is there at least 5 390s running in reverse formation at the moment? I know it takes time to get them the right way round but what this time has caused so many sets to be in reverse formation? Has there been any diversions anywhere recently that has caused this?
Does anybody know the nature of the Signalling problem that is currently causing problems in/around Wigan Northwestern area at the moment? Looks like its going to be causing problems until 12:00 at the earliest so it must be something major that's happened.

Why on a Saturday only does this service spend about 14 mins at Oxenholme Signal Ce45 yet Mon-Fri it runs straight through to Windermere? It can't be to wait for a train from Windermere as that train seems to be booked at the same times Mon-Sat.
Why was the above train terminated at Crewe last night (21/12) and then ran ECS to Edge Hill Depot? According to Realtime Trains it says it was because the planned train being replaced by a slower train:

Does anybody have any information about which train caught fire last night causing the closure of the Calder Valley line between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale at Monsall?
Does anybody know what caused the damage to the overhead wires today between Leeds-Skipton and why the complete line had to be closed? It does look like a train was stranded at Keighley and couldn't go no further according to track diagrams.
It does sound serious as apparently the fire brigade...
Why is the above service only running as far as Stafford at the moment and not all the way through to Piccadilly? Also what's happening to the staff who crew the service when the service gets to Stafford?

Yesterday (2/4) I travelled on 20:13 Crewe-Manchester Piccadilly service and noticed that it was in Reverse Formation (1st Class at the front heading towards Manchester) and have a few queries:
1> How would this have happened as 1st Class is nearly always at the front heading towards London...
