Why on a Saturday only does this service spend about 14 mins at Oxenholme Signal Ce45 yet Mon-Fri it runs straight through to Windermere? It can't be to wait for a train from Windermere as that train seems to be booked at the same times Mon-Sat.

It'll be to allow the 1008 (SO) Windermere->Manchester Airport service to exit the branch. That doesn't leave Oxenholme Lake District platform 3 until 1029 on Saturdays. During the week, it departs Windermere some 13 minutes earlier at 0955, so has cleared the branch at around, or shortly after 1016, just before the 0829 Manchester Airport->Windermere arrives at Oxenholme Lake District (1019 during the week, 1032 on Saturdays).
