2) Dun Laoghaire to Greystones. Greystones to Howth, Howth to...
I'm doing a cruise in July, and one of the ports is Dublin. Realistically, how long would it take to cover the whole Dublin tram system, with a bit of leeway?
I'm now thinking about doing the Far North lines in May. I prefer to travel in daylight. Looking at National Rail Enquires, I can leave Hemel Hempstead at 08.36 and arrive in Wick at 22.52. Is it allowed to stop overnight in Inverness and continue to Wick the following day?
Using the BoJ rules...
My daughter will be moving to Wokingham next week. Am I allowed to travel via Paddington & Reading or must it always be Waterloo, from Hemel Hempstead.
I'm not sure which thread to post this in.
I was riding though a park yesterday where there is a miniature railway. (I won't say where) and the driver looked very young. I was just wondering what type of rules and training are required for the drivers?
I'm aiming to spend a few days in Manchester and although not direct, is the following route allowed with an off peak return. Hemel Hempstead to Crewe, then Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly using the northern service via Manchester Airport? I The reason I want to use this route, is I need to bash...
I'm looking at spending some time in Manchester in Sept. Does the Manchester day ranger - extended area (£14.70) include the entire Metro link system? I'm also over 60, can I claim the concessionary price of £9.70?

Quick question. Next weekend I'm thinking of going to Corby. Do the 360's use the slow lines or fasts north of Bedford?
If all goes to plan, next September I have a plan to try an Inter rail ticket 15 days around Europe staying in hotels. Train riding 7am to 7pm (guide times only) .
Being a lone traveler, this will be way way outside my comfort zone.
So I don't screw my head up too much over thinking things...
For my weeks holiday, I decided to spend some time up in the North West and based myself in Wigan for 6 nights.
My aim was to complete all my untraveled lines in the area, pacers:lol::lol: and finish off the Merseyrail lines.

Today I follewed the newly laid tram tracks in blackpool towards Blackpool North station. They come to an adrupt end by Wilko's and it looks like they're heading straight into Wilko's.
Does any know if the new line, is going to get any closer to the railway station?
I had already cleared some lines in South Wales but this Rover gave me the chance to bash the rest. (Senior card price £45.55)
I decided to have 3 nights in Swansea and 2 Cardiff. I can sit here and make great plans but out and about things go astray.

At this time of your I don't have a great deal of work, so I took myself on a rail related holiday to Exmouth, Devon. My main aim was to complete the Newquay branch.

I need to bash the line from Brighton to Ford/Arundel. In the ideal world, I'd like to squeeze in Horsham to Victoria via Leatherhead.

My daughter has recently moved up to Prestatyn. When I visit her and because I have plenty of time to watch trains on the way up, I was wondering if going via Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury is a permitted route?
Due to circumstances, I'll be buying an off peak return, its not a bad price...
At very short notice I decided to do another 7 day rover before the dark nights, set in. It's all well and good making plans but storm Cullam changed quite a lot.
My overall aim is to clear as many lines in the UK, with my senior card as possible. Below is a brief overview.
