Heavy delays tonight due to a broken down freight train at Retford. The concourse at Kings Cross was very crowded when I passed through a few minutes ago!

I'm guessing Hull Trains are once again having reliability issues. The 0725 from KGX was cancelled this morning and I noticed FGW 180108 working the 2030 out of Kings Cross tonight! Is this the first time an FGW unit has been hired in?

I notice that my planned train, along with a number of others, has been cancelled from Charing X this morning due to an 'unknown reason' (source: realtimetrains). Is there a link?

Does anybody know if DB UK would take a booking for Budapest-Vienna? I need to make a group booking for this route, for around 30 people. If not, does anybody know of a way of booking this ticket in the UK? I am struggling to buy a ticket on the Hungarian and Austrian Railways' own websites.

Currently at a stand on the 1210 HUL-KGX service at St Neots, along with an FCC train on platform 4. According to the guard there is damage to the OHL ahead. Does anybody know anything more of this, or of the severity of the delay?

It's all going off at Leeds. The 1555 towards MIA diverted via Castleford although it's not clear why, as the following service (1608 towards LIV) went normal route. Meanwhile services between Doncaster and Leeds are scuppered due to a failed train. East Coast are subject to severe delays.
