Booked with EC to travel on LM
Ok so I should have really checked this but I just booked it as it allowed me to but when I looked at the ticket the next morning to see it was an off peak ticket.
So I then had to stump up another peak time single. So I tried to get my money back but East...
due to signal failure at finsbury park no services in or out. People being told to take tube to alex palace for local services and liverpool street for cambridge. No mention about ec/hull/gc services
Last night about 7ish Inspector Sands was being called for took him/her ages to get to the control office
Got few mins of repeated message blasting out.
Anyone know the reason?
Just book a few trains on Hull Trains from Doncaster to London and the price now seems to be £17.10 advance single with railcard compared to £13.20 the other week. Im booking at the 12 week limit so have all prices gone up by them and if so why?
I was due to board a HT service from Doncaster today @ 07:19 which was cancelled but it did arrive into Doncaster on time and then terminated. Then returning to Hull empty. I’ve found out that this is the reason why but I’m not sure what the issue is and why they can’t run a part Hull to London...
I have a motorised dish so can get this but on Das Erste at 03:10 (our time)
Seems to run a few nights a week.

Ok so I was on the EC 7:12 Wakefield Westgate to London KC on 17th May and this was before the new timetable so I dont have any information about the service times.

So is the new timetable working?
So far ive been on 4 services and so far 4 delays. Noticed a few other companies suffering knock on delays.

So basically I travel to London with EC from Wakefield unless they are a lot more when I travel on the 7:18 Doncaster to London Hull trains service. With me getting the 06:27 XC or 06:33 NR services from Wakefield.
It has only happened once that the Northern Rail service has let me coming...
I get this train quite a lot and I dont think I have ever arrived on time its always +5 mins late.
It either goes slow through stevenage, waits outside Peterboro or there is some other hold up/
Anyone know why and will this improve come the 22nd.

Im off to the Wales v England match on Saturday heading into Cardiff Centre. Now I know they have some kind of queuing system for different points of the country but how easy is this to get on my correct booked train?
Now I travel a lot via Doncaster or Wakefield to London either using Hull Trains or East Coast. 99% of the time travelling back up north I use East coast as they are the cheapest option. And some times I travel East Coast down if there are the cheap advance tickets.
I always book my trains...
Now wanting a little reason to travel on the HS1 I thought I would look at this route as I had to go from that area to romford.
I checked the train website out it gave me the time the price and the route.

Surprised there was no thread about last nights chaos.
Thousands stuck at KC as a signal failure at Finsbury Park caused all trains south to ground to a halt.
But yet again the lack of communication was shocking. Staff trying to shout what was going on at certain points.
Why was no one...
Just wondering if anyone knew why this managed to get to Doncaster (Early) but was then cancelled for the rest of the journey to Kings Cross.
The train also departed southbound on time not sure where it went after that.
