Just book a few trains on Hull Trains from Doncaster to London and the price now seems to be £17.10 advance single with railcard compared to £13.20 the other week. I’m booking at the 12 week limit so have all prices gone up by them and if so why?

when are you booking dates/times? fares may have gone up with fare changes in accordance with nfm11, which starts next month.

As sonic2009 suggests, fares are higher when the new Fares Manual takes effect from 4 September.

Doncaster - London Terminals route AP Hulltrns Only has seven levels of Standard Advance fares. Currently these are £9, £10, £15, £20, £25, £30 and £45. The ticket you bought the other week was at the fourth level, £20 reduced to £13.20 by your Railcard discount.

From 4 September, the seven price levels are £10, £16, £20.50, £26, £32, £44.50 and £59.50. The ticket now available is still at the fourth level, £26 reduced to £17.10 by your Railcard discount.

It's National Fares Manual NFM 10 which starts on 4 September. The current issue is NFM 09.
