I've noticed that the "Red Line" near the Tesco has the oyster reader inside the CTA. There is a sign...something about you must not cross the line without a valid ticket. The Oyster reader is beyond the red line though.

Has the new installed escalator at Bank (DLR up towards Northern line) broken down already. Thur and Friday both days it was off. Also people seem to think that the space beside the handrail is a dustbin, everyday I see cups bottles and wrappers left there lots of them. seems the cleaners...

On Friday at 21:04 there where about 10 to 15 people on the up escalator from the northern line up to the FCC platforms 9 and 10 when suddenly the escalator started to go downwards. (...so someone pressed the stop button) anyone know why/what happened.

Anyone know when they are going to start using the goods lines between Alexandra palace and Finsbury park for passenger trains. Lots of track-work activity last few months on the goods track between Alexandra palace and Finsbury park.

No not yet. Workmen about the station pulling cables, station is getting re-painted as well.

2 of the same structures both are at the car stops (3 car and 6/8 car) looks like driver vdu screen blocks...but why the steps. also why does New Southgate suddenly require VDU screen instead of mirrors.

Update: Looks like they are fitting monitors for drivers at New Southgate. photo's attached.

Anyone know if they are fitting vdu monitors for drivers at New Southgate, there has been some trackside engineering adjacent to the mirror's at the 3/4 car stop and at the 6/8 car stop marks. Concrete mounts of some sort has been erected. Also noticed Alexandra Palace platform 4 has had...
