Avanti West Coast 807002 has overnight moved from Oxley to Darlington, and this morning will be dragged from Darlington to Merchant Park. Unsure why this live has occurred, could be Mods or could be for crack repairs.

LNER stating they have disruption as no route between Berwick and Darlington, due to over running engineering works between Berwick and Newcastle, and due to urgent bridge repairs between Newcastle and Darlington. Does anyone have any info on which bridge suddenly requires urgent repairs.

I’ve seen on North East Rail scene, (screen shot of post attached), that 66110 was moved to Tees Yard today where it will be stored. Picture shows 66110 getting towed through Thornaby station. Is Tees Yard going to be the new Toton with a long line of 66s getting parked up?

Today, believed to be for the first time, a class 195 (195023), has ventured north of York on the ECML, as part of Northern route refresh for York based drivers. The unit worked north as 5Z90 0955 York to Newcastle, and is currently heading south as 5Z92 1308 Newcastle to York.
