The 16:15 Avanti to Liverpool Lime Street overshot Platform 6 at MKC today by at least three carriages - then took 25 mins to 'reverse'. Why not just only open the doors on the carriages which were against a Platform rather than delaying everyone for 25 minutes ?

Cost of Standard Premium is £25 from Crewe but only £15 from Stafford. With a ticket from Crewe and assuming the train stops at Stafford, if I move into SP from Stafford would I still be required to pay £25 (because my ticket is from Crewe) or only £15 as I moved into SP at Stafford ? Thanks

Looking at CRE-EUS and return for Tues/Wed next week and no tickets for SP, not sold out, only tickets are Standard or First on any train I look at. Have they abandoned SP ?

For some reason the 1710 service from Eus to MK doesn't come up when you search on the Virgin fares site. Is an Anytime ticket valid on this service even though it doesn't show as an option ? Thanks
