Any reason why it doesn't show ?
From the forum instructions:LBZ to CTR shows an Advance Ticket being available on TrainSplit (change MKC and CRE but NOT a split ticket) but can't find it on either National Rail or Avanti sites.

In addition, please avoid using three letter codes in thread titles or where you haven't mentioned the station before. Their use is acceptable for follow-ups where you use the correct code (eg: BNS is Barnes, BHM is Birmingham New Street).
LBZ is Leighton Buzzard which makes going via Watford (and catching a train that then calls at LBZ) a weird routeing, which I can't reproduce - though it will sell me a ticket via London with about the same times! From the forum instructions:
That must be a split ticket because the price doesn't end in 0 or 5From TrainSplit - 13th Nov £50.56 using an Avanti Advance Ticket with connection from LBZ to MKC. Doesn't show on Avanti site - best fare is £61.30

If the journey is from Leighton Buzzard, why are the times from Watford Junction? From TrainSplit - 13th Nov £50.56 using an Avanti Advance Ticket with connection from LBZ to MKC.
The Trainsplit fare obviously includes a "share of saving" fee. The tickets are an Off Peak Day Single from Watford Junction to Leighton Buzzard (£8.30) and then an Advance single on to Chester (£42.00).That must be a split ticket because the price doesn't end in 0 or 5
Yes - it's because the Avanti site isn't looking for slower journeys to make them cheaper, even if they involve using an Avanti service from Crewe to Chester. It's just the way most websites are set up.Any reason why it doesn't show ?
