CrossCountry seat selector - how to find it?

Thanks Paul. I just heard from CrossCountry that it's switched off because it wouldn't work well with social distancing.

CrossCountry seat selector - how to find it?

I don't ever seem to be able to get the CrossCountry seat selector to appear. I tried York to Darlington, York to Sheffield and Sheffield to Bristol TM, all for Tuesday morning next week, and solely on CrossCountry services, but was never offered the option to select my seat. Has it been...

    Caledonian Sleeper

The ORR stats don't look correct to me.

    Caledonian Sleeper

Max capacity on each is around 250 (though this isn't really reached, as it requires all rooms to be booked as a twin)

NLC 7971 - Where is this location?

Indeed, there are several stations where the gatelines have their own NLCs, for example.

Northern Rail TVM for TPE ticket

The railway is not quite this disjointed! You will be able to buy any ticket from the TVM; at least, for any journey from the station the TVM is at, and at least for the same day (some TVMs can sell tickets starting from other stations; and for dates other than 'today').

    London to Glasgow Non-Stop

Just 36 invited guests I believe on board. All socially distanced in 1st class.

NLC 7971 - Where is this location?

7971 doesn't exist - at least as of RSP data from 20th January (I don't have anything more up to date).

GWR Advance prices got cheaper since I bought them

As I said, it depends on how things are set up.

Doncaster to Scarborough via Bempton Routeing

Split at Goole and you can save a couple of pounds, though it does mean you can't use Hull Trains' services (which go via Selby)

GWR Advance prices got cheaper since I bought them

Most likely they will become available again, subject to any rules set up by the TOC in the availability system. Assuming that there were no rules preventing them from becoming available again, then this is what most likely happened here, as a consequence of another customer doing a Change of...

London to East Grinstead return via Tunbridge Wells

Then you should contact Southeastern as you may get a better group discount: https://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/tickets/ways-to-save/group-travel You may also need to do the same with Southern (as your outward journey will be with them). If this does not work out better, then split your...

Ticket issued with a "Senior Save Railcard"

That's what the data says to print. Your railcard is the ENCTS. I expect someone just thought this was only for senior citizens, and forgot it could be granted to people with disabilities too.

London to East Grinstead return via Tunbridge Wells

How many of you are travelling? What time / day of the week would you like to set off from London, ideally? I walked some of the Forest Way from groombridge a few weeks ago, it is very pleasant and easy going. Happy to recommend a few places to stop off or to eat in Tunbridge wells.
