    Eurostar Plus is becoming worse

But a product like Standard Premium is advertised as exactly that, unlike Eurostar Plus which is advertised as having a meal service and drinks.

TrainSplit for Android also offers this, free of charge. Enable detailed mode in the app's settings, then just tap and hold on the carriage image when viewing a service in "Live times".

    Southampton - London route validity

How would you get from Angmering to London? Are they trying to say it's valid via Hove, but not Brighton? If so, that's absurd. If not, then are they implying you'd go Southampton to Angmering, then back to Ford/Barnham, then up towards Horsham? In any case, Southampton to London, route Any...

    Is trainpal wrong?

It's not the only bit of fares and routeing insanity in this area, either. Things are even worse further up the line, with tickets from Hassocks - Gatwick Airport inclusive (and I think even as far as around Salfords/Earlswood, where the shortest+3mi route includes via Guildford?) to stations...

Marking of Credit Card sized tickets

Well which is it? You rip it in half, or you write the date on it? :D

Marking of Credit Card sized tickets

If only they added "ECR" to it as well, then it might actually be useful!

    Is trainpal wrong?

There is seemingly a separate issue preventing the sale of the ticket via the forum's site, which has been raised with our supplier.

    New clock unveiled

The widget requests a minimum size, which is a square. Most devices, however, will have a home screen grid where each cell is rectangular. On my phone, it uses a 2x2 grid, which happens to be taller than it is wide.

    RealTimeTrains website

It's not about "using RTT", but whether they use the system that is now open data for anyone to use. That's all passenger TOCs, except Eurostar and London Overground. (And the likes of LUL, Tyne & Wear, Supertram are also excluded.)

    London to Lewes via Brighton

TrainSplit website allows up to 5 via points, I believe. Same on the Android app. iOS doesn't have the functionality yet. It might let you add more than that, but I think it ignores them after a certain amount.

Forthcoming changes to National Rail Conditions of Travel

Yes, the version of the NRCoT which is in force at the time of purchase applies. My understanding is that RDG do not publish the new version in advance, so it will only be published officially from the date the new conditions take effect,

Passenger train consists as Open Data

Quite, but it's worth remembering we run a few more trains than Finland does. That additional data does cost money to process and store.

Forthcoming changes to National Rail Conditions of Travel

Unless I'm misunderstanding what is being discussed, journey planners should support this. It's one of the spec requirements, and TrainSplit, OTRL and NRE all support it for example. My go-to test is normally Shrewsbury - Clapham Junction via Salisbury, where Warminster-Salisbury is not a...

Passenger train consists as Open Data

RTT's now become 5 years, with future expansion to include back to 2012 planned. :p

Forthcoming changes to National Rail Conditions of Travel

My main gripe with the supposed wording of the Elizabeth Line break of journey rules is that "Tickets valid for travel across London" is rather generic. I suspect the "intention" was to remove break of journey for journeys using Elizabeth Line with a maltese cross, but the wording might also...

Forthcoming changes to National Rail Conditions of Travel

Good luck with station staff when your ticket doesn't open the barrier, though. That goes for most LO stations.

Forthcoming changes to National Rail Conditions of Travel

My go-to example is SailRail via Cairnryan, which offers Anytime tickets with restriction code 1X.

LNER: "experiencing some technical issues with our seat maps"

Rather straightforward to reproduce the error by trying to reserve J82 on any 9-car Azuma. I note that the seat map does not denote these as priority seats with a "P" like it does for other seats. Presumably they've misconfigured their seatmap.

LNER: "experiencing some technical issues with our seat maps"

Is it not using RARS2 now? It shouldn't have the same limitation, and should allow changing the seat on a reservation if it's the last fare in the bucket, unless the site itself has old logic in place to prevent this being attempted. Or unless it's still using rebook/cancel even with RARS2...
