Probably noone considered it because the product has existed for ages but those who agreed the terms have all since left the respective TOCs so noone's left who remembers the details!

A good indicator is that Rejseplanen shows the service with "Toget har lav indstigning" ("The train has low boarding") which also showed for the inaugural Fredericia workings. DSB certainly think the train will be a Talgo set.

Do signallers actually see the signal someone is calling from, or does it still rely on the person on the phone to state where they are calling from?

The service had a variation of the working timetable (WTT) created through very short-term planning (VSTP). The "Activated" time is irrelevant to this -- that's when the train gets activated within TRUST rather than when the change was made. TRUST will automatically activate the service 1 hour...
