The Settle to Carlisle line has been closed this evening between Kirkby Stephen and Carlisle after Network Rail deemed the line unsafe after a landslip last month and continuing rain has caused further issues. At the moment the line isn't due to reopen until 29th February.

Lack of free platforms. All the infrastructure food and supplies are at Euston. The passengers would need transferring from Euston to Kings Cross. The train still comes ECS from Wembley so would need to run from Wembley via NLL and reverse to access Kings Cross
