Any train can be made into a high quality Northern Connect style train. Look at the 333s older brothers and sisters the 332 with Heathrow Express same train but a high quality interior.
'IF' they did become long distance units with new high spec interior we would need some more trains in metro...
The new onboard machines will primarily work in off line mode but if need be can be put on line via mobile phone signal, so if a card does decline in on line mode it's a proper decline

The one on 10 arrived from Appleby at 1437 with a 158 and attaches to the 1518. The one on 11b come from Man Vic around 1450 and attaches to a 155 for the 1551 Man Vic and not sure about the one on 12
Also heard that money allocated to the training of drivers is a little tight after running a lot of courses for both drivers and guards. As well as the Leeds training academy is full at the moment
RTT doesn't update for diverts. The only way it would show a train and path is if it terminated the original service then started a new service with a new headcode via the diversion
I want to try and do as many of the valleys line as I can between 1000 and 1530 on a weekday. Not bothered about having to do both line up and down. Willing to go up a line and a bus to the next line and back down that.
