I saw the above loco crawling through Birmingham Moor St this morning, presumably on its way to Worcester and Hereford where according to ITV Central it will be hauling the Royal Train tomorrow. Would be great if there were some photographers around to take some shots.

An example of their fare structure. Trainline.com: B'ham - Aberystwyth cost £20 + £1 insurance + £3.50 credit card charge. Arriva same trip - £20 no extra charges. Why pay 22% more for the same trip. I guess someone has to pay for those stupid ads.

Looks like this one is going ahead as they have confirmed 2 x West Coast Class 37's. Lets hope this one runs smoothly. I'll be looking forward to receiving the tickets early next week.
