Does the bus have a live link to satellite so it checks the tickets in realtime?
Or it just stores the info and it will be extracted at depot so it can be processed?
If latter, how does the bus will know if that card has zero balance or is invalidated?
I know it is standard procedure for RPIs and inspectors to seize any tickets they suspect that may be involved in the fraud.
What happens if you have two tickets and one were used for fraud reasons and another was for genuine use?
Example:
You have a two oyster cards, one is travelcard and...
The approach to BSW terminus on metro is few feet below the street level. If they extend it to BHM, they would have to tunnel it to the street level or they would have build a very steep slope to street level. I don't know how this can be done.
Unless they're planning to do this at...
Most unreliable in terms of amount of minor and severe delays and closures due to the failure on somewhere on the line? Note this excludes the closure due to weekend engineering.
For example, there might be a route from A to Z. All stations in between are lettered from B to Y.
So. What happens if I wrongly split the route into A-M and O-Z missing N.
Which UFN are to be handed? For A-N or N-Z? Both route's any-time ticket prices are different.
Go from Southall to Central London, somewhere near Goodge street tube station?
There are two routes I want to take, one with NR, one without NR.
Without NR option, do I really have to take bus to Ealing? Is it faster to take it to Hounslow or somewhere up north?
Also, is it true they...
I've been wondering what exactly do 'delays' on tube train status board mean...
It can't be normal delay as most tube trains are every 3-5 minutes during the weekdays.
If it was delayed, then you would get on the train that was supposed to be earlier but delayed. If it wasn't you'd get on...
Not sure where to put this but anyway.
Let's say, there was 2 trains, and three stations. Let's label stations A B C in same order.
If a train from A going to C is running late, by about 15 minutes late which puts scheduled time arrival of 22:45 instead of 22:30. Then there's a stopping...
I've never heard of them, neither does my mate. Is it good? A mate of mine asked me that he lives somewhere in between Ilford and Barking stations. He has a choice of using C2C or NXEA.
What train company would you recommend?
If I were to go from London Terminals to BHM stations every weekends, (On Saturday/Friday, going to London), on (Sunday, returning to London) on advance tickets every weekends.
How much would you estimate the cost (Monthly)? Is the train usually busy (On off peak periods on those days)? I'm...
And what would you do in this situation? Can you just ignore RPI if they're harrasing you? The ticket I'm talking about is perfectly vaild but lesser known types of ticket.
I can see some tracks that was removed. I only saw it between Tyseley to Solihull. I think there are spaces for about 2 more tracks.
Is it true that line originally had 4 tracks?
It might be useful for me as well to know.
The game is that you have to find the fastest way from west/east end of London to opposite ends, using only public transport you have got with some restrictions imposed. You will have to provide the full details of routing, and you will also have to...
