    Why does this happen? Can't they reduce fares to low amount so more people will use it, therefore, more revenue for rail company?

    What happens if the train gets cancelled?

    If you were using advance ticket? I know that you can get moved to another first train that comes, or refund. What happens if the train is last off-peak train and you will have to wait for another good 3+ hours for another off-peak train? Don't you get moved to next one peak train that costs...

    On the website, it seems be saying that XCountry is only TOC that can take me to there. I never tried it, is it good? TOCs I only have used is LM, and Chiltern. How good is XCountry when compared to those TOCs?

    I plan to move to London within 1.5-2 years as an student attending the uni. I also plan to travel around London a lot so I need to live in areas that have a very good transport network. Any suggestions? Also, I need at least live within 10-20 minutes (By walk or bus) from tube station...
