Booked a sleeper journey with GWR (Advance) and plans changed. Conditions state change of journey possible but no refunds as normal. Phoned up to change journey and was told they would put it through for refund and should book new journey separately. Has anyone else had experience of refund then...

Just a heads up as the site is jumping trains during booking process. If you don't notice you may end being booked on different train at the 2nd stage of the process !!!

Greater Anglia 1630 London Liverpool St. to Norwich (1P44) has hit a car on crossing at Palgrave - car trapped under train with driver believed to still be inside the car. No injury to crew or passengers reported.

From November Greater Anglia will not issue paper season tickets for monthly or longer duration, all will be issued on smart cards. Can't see this going down well especially if your season is also valid on Great Northern route from Cambridge !!

Tickets from Wymondham and Attleborough to London have always had route via Norwich or Cambridge, it seems they have been adjusted so journey planners will not allow return via Cambridge on the higher priced via Norwich ticket anymore which is not good if returning at the weekend if wishing to...

I have noticed the berth inclusive price for GWR Advance tickets are adjusted by reducing prices to lower tiers approx. 10 days out if demand is low, e.g. next week starting level was £79 now some at £49 So in winter can be worth delaying booking (not recommend for Friday / Sunday nights).
