The ‘cat’ answer is only for clue 3, whereas the ‘church’ answer is for clues 1 and 2 but not clue 3, so your answer is split across all the clues, which may not help, if that makes sense. The other half of clue 3 relates to the ‘certain way of walking’

Overcomplicating things here, I think, and I appreciate that's my fault with the additional clues.

The obvious correct part of your answer is the Vatican although you need to consider the obvious 'business' of the enclave and from there part of the clue for 1 & 2 is found. The Tiber is on the very right lines but not the river in question (the river isn't Roman). But together, when found, the two part-answers would form the correct (one word) station answer. Clue 3 has nothing to do with The Vatican or any river - the two parts-answers would (obviously) form the correct station answer but wording breakdown of the part-answers in clues 1 and 2 aren't the same words as in clue 3.

I can imagine. Let me recap and hopefully simplify:

Clues 1 and 2 are a combination of river and Vatican 'thing' (the river can also be another word of which there is a hint in clue 1). The two words put together give the correct station answer.

Clue 3 is type of cat and style of walking. Again, the words together give the correct station answer.

There is a 4th clue I could give but I think this would make things too easy (and we don't want that, do we...?)

An English station, current, nothing untoward with it, one word, two syllables.

The 3rd clue makes more sense if one were to break the word down syllabically, i.e. it's half and half, whereas clues 1 and 2 are made up of a shorter answer and longer answer.

Not Mansfield.

The cat part of the clue, if one is going down that path, is spelt as it should be. The second part of that clue is spelt not as it is in the station but sounds identical - no need for accent affections and such.
