If I can be a bit of a precisian / sourpuss: Freshwater was the one-time furthest-west station on the Isle of Wight, terminus of branch from Newport, closed to all traffic 1953 ! I understand that the convention in "Cryptic Clues Station Name", is that we're limited to stations open for passenger service "now today" -- allowing also, the many hundreds of closed stations in Great Britain: would make things unmanageable big-time.

According to the timetables, it will only have 3 trains each way today.

I'm thinking Hollywood=film, dolphin=submarine and 'loses fifty'=take away an 'L'. However, I've trawled through every submarine movie I can find on the internet, but I can't find a submarine name - real or fictitious - which, by taking away an 'L', leaves the name of a UK station! Any chance of another clue please?

I'll have a wild guess with "Williton". Willi (Willy) for the famous Orca - who was actually called Keiko in real life - (part of the dolphin family) and maybe ton because they normally weight at least double.

Collaborative endeavour justified on this one, I feel: I believe that Miami's American football, or maybe baseball, team (am a total ignoramus about sports) are called the Dolphins. Though how that might fit with Hollywood -- films, or telly series? -- heaven only knows.

I do have an answer: Overpool. Liverpool (where the band were from), although the 'losing 50' bit has confused me (Roman 50= L. Take that from Liverpool and you have Iverpool...).
