Ooh thanks for that! I did look on Flickr for 185102 and 185107 but the most recent uploads were of them still on old livery! They must have been uploaded shortly after.

I'm going for '110, since it was the last one to be seen in the original 'barbie' livery. No logic there I know!

It isn't! 185110 is the latest in the new livery, seen working the 1255 Manchester Airport to Cleethorpes on Monday.

We're now at:

I *think* Its 111 next out. Rumour also has 101 as the 1st internal refurb too.

I saw 111 paired with 117 this morning, both in new livery.

The rumour about 101 is correct. I heard it from the MD himself so I'd like to think he's a trustworthy source

So we're now at this stage?

Anyone got a picture of 185101's internal refurb?

As far as I'm aware, 101 is still on York depot and if the original plan is being stuck to then the mods won't be visible yet. They're for things like wifi fitment and ASDO

I think 101 will be out a little bit sooner than that, at what stage of refurb is anyones guess though.

143 should be next for the new livery from what I'm told.

So over 260 posts in a 'Class 185 refurbishment' thread and most of them refer to 185s getting a new livery but not yet being refurbished!

The refurb of 101 is going okay so far. The first inspection of the new interior happened today.

The first few units to be done won't have the new catering module fitted as these are still being constructed, but they will be retrofitted as soon as can be done.

The new catering trolleys are on test and should be ready soon for mass introduction.

I'll update again soon with more info.

The plan now is that the units will come out of the shed with all the new stuff fitted, which is what was not the original plan.

Can't post the photos I'm afraid but all is looking good at the moment.

Catering trolleys tests ? - tell me more...my interest is well and truly piqued.

Testing/certification.

The new trolleys are taller, lighter, slimmer. Designed to fit into the new module on the 185 that will be installed. They will also be compatible with the new train fleets when they arrive.

That's all I can say really. :)

Oh. I was hoping that the testing was a race round the staff car park. :(
