Could someone familiar with Nottingham's trams advise me, when tapping off outside a short hop zone (or indeed within a short hop zone), how does the system know whether you're ending a journey, or starting a new one?
Just saw this on a ticket machine. Automatically applies a discount for children for £2 when relevant. Its a GTR machine.
How does it know if its relevent to apply the discount, and that the holder knows and will stick to the T&Cs?
See below thread. I have a credit card which Stagecoach doesn't like. It works to buy a ticket, but my account doesn't get debited, and if I try and use the card on a Stagecoach bus again the same day it gets declined.
I contacted Stagecoach, but after my original email they've ignored my...
Is there a decent app I can use for live departures, similar to how the National Rail App was before its latest downgrade?
I've just updated the National Rail App and its not very good anymore.
The nearest I've found so far is the Trainline website (their app is worse than the National Rail...
I cannot find this information online. Can someone advise whether I can use an Oystercard at East Tilbury? It says 'outside fare zones', but it also says this for Hertford East and you can use an Oystercard there
I cannot for the life of me find the information on GWR's website. Can someone post a link of where to find the information of where one can use a GWR ITSO card

Only you can submit a Subject Access Request for your personal information. No one else, and no organisation, can submit a Subject Access Request. It sounds like they don't know what they're...
To think TfL should provide accurate information in emails?
16-17 Oystercard, will only be used on buses.
I will not be charged a maximum fare for not making a journey if I just tap on a bus, so why do they tell me I will?
And why do they suggest using contactless when the whole reason I've got...
Has anyone got any idea where I can download a bus map for North Wales? Arriva's website is pretty useless, as is Traveline and Transport for Wales.
It seems increasingly difficult as the years go on to get information about bus services
Does anyone recall a time-lapse video by the BBC, probably about 30-40 years ago of a speeded up driver's eye view, of the line up Long Eaton/Newark Castle way?
I've Googled and searched on YouTube, but cannot find it
Received an email from TfL this moring stating that as from 17th November, those using auto top-up will be automatically topped up if their balance goes below £20 (up from the present £10).
There is a link in the email inviting people to click on it for the updated T&Cs, but I clicked on it and...
Wouldn't this affect Croydon Trams as well, as they had some delivered too

Looks like the Government have begged Go-Ahead not to hand the keys of the GTR franchise back

I am posting this in order that it may help other 'Safeguarded' British Rail Staff who have child dependants with a Zip (11-15) Oystercard.
Children 10 and under get free travel on London Underground, so it doesn't apply to them (but you can still get the PRIV discount added to an under 11 Zip...
My child was charged £1.20 on an under 10 Zip Oyster to go Norwood junction - Canada Water (touching the reader there) - Canary Wharf via gateline - DLR to Cutty Sark. An under 10 Zip should be free, but was charged £1.20. Must be something wrong with the way people are charged using the East...
What counts as 'staff' in order to be eligible to travel on a staff train? Can a contractor working on behalf of Network Rail, for instance, legally travel on a staff train?
