Child rate pre-pay on Oyster

If a child has a Zip Oyster Card, can you actually load pre-pay on it and obtain child rate fares at National Rail Stations? I want to use it on the Emirates, and it says you can obtain a child rate oyster pre-pay fare, but nowhere on TfL's website does it say about loading pre-pay on Zip...

Toilets on 377s

Why do the toilets on 377s lock themselves out of use when they go out of service, thereby trapping people inside? And if they are designed to do this, why is there not an emergency release on the inside so those trapped can free themselves?
