To think TfL should provide accurate information in emails?
16-17 Oystercard, will only be used on buses.
I will not be charged a maximum fare for not making a journey if I just tap on a bus, so why do they tell me I will?
And why do they suggest using contactless when the whole reason I've got a 16-17 Zip Card is because it's cheaper than contactless?
Why do the travelling public have to deal with this false information and work it all out for themselves all the time?

The touching in refers to Underground (etc) stations.

If you tap at the gateline to collect the credit and don't make a journey then a maximum fare will be charged.
