I am confused about the getting out of gear as it’s an EV with no gears. Sounds like a driver issue with it which can be understandable given only in service few days

Could the not convert the evening and more weekend ( All Sunday ) to electric traction? Surely a better plan to maximise when possible. Even off peak using a unit that runs off to remain out and the 156 stable till peak?

Few good duplicating shifts will be removed. good example is the 787 covering the through the night 747. saves a night shift thats probably worst to cover for any depot.

Was rumoured during the strike but doubt now as they’ve just submitted a timetable change for the full route in July. Any announcement of the July changes?

Would be good if the case but unfortunately we have local government controlled bus operations buying from abroad - Nottingham being a key example. Even Manchester too Volvos that came across on a boat so wouldn’t be a silver bullet without legislation changes
