Is the noted speed increase the only improvement?

If going to Abroath for the X7, I would imagine that these will be tri axle yutongs and be charged during the layover at Dundee to keep them all day. 7 for a requirement (currently) of 6 might allow some swapping or will we see Dundee based workings also introduced since the recent licence...

I wouldn’t hold your breath - this is the removal of the ferry to fund the service if to happen. Govt want to cut the ferry times and they say this is more cost effective but as we know will take ages to happen

Might have missed this but have WCM closed South Street in Glasgow and moved it all to Charles St? this Must be a consolidation In depot resources but cost loads in dead running to west end

Thanks Certainly small overall speed increase but notable improvements to performance will be experienced. Apologise but slightly off topic is there any improvements following the Carlisle works at Kingmoor for signals? Between the 2 it could be a notable benefit for the WCML

The works in place around Mossend Yard complete tonight and Newtork Rail X says it will speed trains up into freight. Does anyone have a note of what has been done and what improvements are actually happening. Thanks
