Well going back to topic then - line side equipment failure at Berkhamsted =]

    AS Railcard

But my point was that a travel pass doesn't mean your going to socialise more. I have a staff pass which gives free travel in London only. I don't go out and socialise with new people, if i'm using it for something other than work, I go to a shop or something. I don't stand in the middle of...

    New TfL "s" stock

Fair enough if you don't want to point out who, but don't forget just because someone says something and they work for the company doesn't mean what they're saying is gospel truth - (that in includes things that I say :))

    Wires Down Berkhamsted

I was told by the info controller they managed to get 1 line open a few hours after, then a while later another (1 up and 1 down)

    Victorialine67 stock

If the train doors open (even if just a small distance), it causes a break in the train's safety circuit applying the emergency brakes immediately.

    AS Railcard

I honestly don't see how. If I had a disabled persons r/card, I'd argue it would mean I would fit less into society, as I would become more isolated into doing just one thing. And I don't see how a bus pass is a ticket to freedom for someone with aspergers syndrome. It doesn't help you...

    Wires Down Berkhamsted

Was reported at 1234, and was only told at 1642 that trains were running with delays of up to two hours.

southeastern 1 week season ticket Monday to Sunday only?

It's fine, just buy it to start on the Tuesday.

    Lineside Signs

The blue numbered signs are carriage lengths after the end of the platform. They serve as an indication to the driver how many cars out of the station you are - (and more importantly how many are in the station). If you require assistance for any reason, (such as a passenger emergency alarm), if...

I have AS and don't qualify for my council's freedom pass scheme... so just be glad you have that =D

    New TfL "s" stock

Hadn't heard that - did you get that from a Met driver aswell? Note that although drivers believe they can last another 25 years, that doesn't mean they will be around that long. I doubt the new trains will be delayed by that long anyway..

    Scum

Don't worry, you won't be flamed from me, I'm not an expert either ;D

Which rail service do you use the most?

Pretty much every day I use NXEA ENL-TOM, and change for the Victoria line to somewhere, depending where I'm working.

    New TfL "s" stock

I don't actually *think* it has openable windows - but I'm not sure. But, whatever the weather, those at the north end of the met will always complain about something =)

Actually, doesn't the terrorism act 2008 make it illegal to film police officers...?

    New TfL "s" stock

I think many people's opinion on the S stock will be rather limited on it, as it's not been in service. I believe the idea of having the TBC on the left is that it is fixed, so you can sit or stand whilst using it. Although, that said, with the A stock's position you could sit or stand..
