Lineside Signs

I've been playing about with LU routes on BVE and there have been a few signs I've seen that I don't get. I don't know much about this sort of stuff and Google isn't much help. I'd like to know what the following things are all about:

Blue numbered signs. I've guessed that they're carriage lengths after the end of the platform, but what use are they?

T signs in tunnels, similar to speed limit signs. Some sort of default speed limit for a line?

Another white square sign with a tall rectangle with a white stripe across the bottom (looks like a wide !). Only seen this on the Jubilee Line. They seem to be just after you leave a station.

The blue numbered signs are carriage lengths after the end of the platform. They serve as an indication to the driver how many cars out of the station you are - (and more importantly how many are in the station). If you require assistance for any reason, (such as a passenger emergency alarm), if part of your train is already in a station it will be better to stop than continue all the way to the next station. However if you've already left, you need to carry on.

I believe the ! sign is what your talking about on the Jubilee, which serves the same purpose IIRC - if you pass it, if you need assistance continue to the next station.

The T sign is a speed sign, and can be seen both inside and outside of tunnels. It means return to normal line speed.
