Yeah I was mainly thinking about the much easier interchange walk, and the larger air conditioned trains may well be attractive. Stratford's passages sure can get congested during the peaks. Which one is quicker may well depend exactly where your office building is in the Canary Wharf estate!

Another thing through running will likely result in is fewer people changing from the Shenfield direction on to the Jubilee to get to Canary Wharf. IanVisits posted a comparison video, I am not sure if it's longer in terms of absolute distance, but with the assistance of the travelators and escalators it's certainly a bit quicker and lower effort (Slightly broken audio on this, might want to keep it turned down)

The space between is earmarked for banks of escalators and lifts down to Crossrail 2. Large enough so these can be constructed safely without having to shut the existing station.

TfL are continuing to suggest that both Eastern branches will see at least some (maybe peak only) service from both Western branches so there'll definitely be a few Shenfield to Reading services here and there. Maybe the peak only semi-fast that's been mooted.
