    Will there be a class 727, 737, 747, 757, 767

Shame that Airbus used the Voyager nickname on the A330MRTT rather than the A220, another Bombardier product.

5x Class 153 conversion to bike and baggage vans for Scotrail

The updated seat covers look great as well, shame they aren't on 156s and 385s.

5x Class 153 conversion to bike and baggage vans for Scotrail

The renders are different and seem to be of higher quality however.

    Highland Mainline upgrade ideas

Short Pendolinos might actually be a decent proposition for an electrified Inter7City network, and it is likely that they would be available by the time that the HML and Aberdeen line have been electrified, if the press can get over the idea of "London Cast-offs".

Northern Ireland Railways orders 21 new vehicles from CAF

Will they be based on Class 19X? The Class 4000 is quite an old design these days.

    LNER Azuma (Class 800/801)

Why is it departing on diesel if electrification is now up to Stirling?

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

Sorry about that, I'm more used to aberrations in aviation circles, to add to the above: INV = Inverness ICAO HIE = Highlands and Islands Enterprises

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

It could be the two Dundee PSO routes that ran in 2017 (STN and AMS), along with the Barra PSO . Also the government owns HIAL, so any money for other things like investment in infrastructure comes from them.

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

Inverness has no PSO routes, and the parent company, HIAL often put profit back into the Government. Also, Inverness's combined 8 daily A320 flights a day to London have been having very high load factors for the last 2 years, so I highly doubt they'd need to be subsidised as they are seemingly...

Does anyone know if this set will be based in Inverness or Aberdeen?

Class 800 and Class 801 Differences

None, really since all of the engines on the 800 are covered by under body hoardings that the 801 also has. Perhaps there might be exhaust stacks, but apart from that the 801s and 800s are visually identical so you could use the same diagram.

Class 442s - Now at the end of the road and to be withdrawn permanently

Just curious: why people don't list the full tops number?

Scotland could welcome back train building for first time in decades

Talgo have made a point of the fact that they won't just be "screwing together" components, but will be establishing "true" manufacturing in the UK.

91119: Returns to service and in Swallow livery too!

While it would not be as authentic, I'm playing with the idea of a hybrid livery that would blend in with the stock much more naturally. What do you think? It also has the plus that it removes the dated beige part of the livery.

Will there be any LNER branding on it?
