If 001 is having problems would the pairing with 023 negate that? Ie would it be possible for 023 to do all the pushing pulling etc?

yes it seems daft to have a guard on the train and still make operational cameras a requirement for keeping the train in service.

This is awful news. I don’t suppose there’s be any chance if it depended on cost, having it fixed could be done by volunteers or a crowd fund. Given the train is still not in private hands I suppose there are plenty of blocks to that sort of thing. Maybe it’s a naive suggestion but it sprang to...
