It was a long time ago for me to be able to be exact, but the info book with exercises provided by MTR Crossrail should tell you exactly what tests you'll be sitting
Congratulations! It's does happen really quickly after the DMI doesn't it?! Lol. You're one month ahead of me, had my DMI in Oct and start 7th Jan. Just had a response and have been told they were overwhelmed with internal transfers from their qualified drivers so didn't need so many trainees...
The only specific thing they asked me after I rambled on for about 5mins was about the signals, they also said it didn't matter if I didn't know because I had already given enough info...(which didn't make sense, because why ask if it doesn't matter? Lol) I only knew one thing about the signals...
Well that's it, I could walk to work in 15mins, so am gutted, but at the same time wasn't going to do anything that may cause them to withdraw my offer lol I've sucked it up and will deal with it later, I'm sure there will be a chance to transfer. Are you starting on the 7th Jan too?
They shouldn't make you transfer then, that wouldn't make sense. I can still get to old oak within 40mins just about, so maybe they're giving other people around the Berkshire area a chance
Congrats on passing your MMI! I too applied for Maidenhead and was offered Old Oak to start in January, I didn't want to rock the boat and question it and was overwhelmed at the offer so stupidly didn't ask why....
Oh my all means ask, I just meant from my experience with getting info from them since accepting the offer has been non existent, so don't expect an answer.
I have a feeling annual leave gets rostered in for you, as it does when you're qualified and start driving eg work 8 weeks have 2 weeks off. Finding out what annual leave you'll be rostered before you've started training I feel would be a failing mission though lol
Hey Apex, in my opinion, the DMI was a lot more relaxed than the MMI, that's probably why you've seen people write about it being a general chit chat. Definitely more than a chit chat, your answers are marked, but there were a lot of jokes being made so be careful you don't allow yourself to get...
Hey, yes I received my contract and an email to accept the offer on the day they emailed me that I'd been successful. Have a medical booked for then end of the week.
Hey, I did my interview on Friday, got the email on Monday morning, then a phone call with a start date Monday afternoon. Everything started rolling really quickly since Friday.
No date for medical yet, just accepted the offer online tonight, so will wait for that call, hopefully this week.
Think it was around July I applied. I applied in 2016 also, got to MMI and failed on 1 question. Jumped back on it this year and worked my tush off for these interviews.
I think...
