MTR Crossrail Trainee Driver (Multiple Locations)

Also, for the last two weeks for example, we've been out everyday, with no where to leave your stuff at St Mary's Axe, and you already have a big rucksack to carry around all the time, would mean paying extra to hire a locker at the gym, but hey. . Lol. I'd say give it a while and get settled...

MTR Crossrail Trainee Driver (Multiple Locations)

Not so easy to answer, as how long training takes depends on what trainers are available, this includes getting past classroom based training. I'd suggest getting somewhere with multi gym access, where there's one close to Liverpool St and your home, that way won't matter too much

Currently, there's a lot of OT, whether that will be the same when they've filled their quota for drivers I don't know. I haven't paid attention to that really as I'll be earning more than enough to want to spend anymore time working then I need to lol

Hi, no haven't been told anything at all, and we've asked but no one has gotten back to us with anything. I did read in a document yesterday though that we only get given annual leave after 3 months of commencement of the contract and then it's only 2 days per completed month of service for the...

Everything is going really well, haven't had a moments doubt that this was the right choice to make, and am glad I'm here. First week is a bit slow, although you get to meet important people in the company and they all take time out to come and introduce themselves which is appreciated, however...

Lol, yes. But wouldn't be surprised if some didn't get there uniform on the first day, so as long as you're dressed smartly you'll be ok should you not get a chance to wash it

I'm currently training, and tbh during this time we are expected to attend training at St Mary's Axe, Old Oak, Gidea Park and Romford. I am based at Old Oak Common and we've also been told we'll be learning to drive on the East. Although training could only take 9 months, it's looking more...

You won't get any confirmation regarding passing your medical - no news is good news. The next time you'll be contacted after your uniform fitting will be about a week before your start date, and they'll email you an induction day email. Just be prepared to go to St Mary's Axe on your start date...

In their defence, it's not MTR Crossrail who've ballsed up, but Crossrail themselves. MTR Crossrail have targets set with TfL which they have to meet or be fined, so they are continuing to employ drivers so their targets are met, and are fully ready to go once Crossrail manage to finish their...

"How did that make you feel?" hahahahahahaha I thought my interviewer guy was going nuts, like this was genuinely all he cared about, my poor feelings! Was quite irritating actually, as towards the end I started just telling him how it made me feel, but he still frickin asked so I'd end up...

Hey there! The cuts are drastic, but don't let that concern you or make you lose focus, especially if you're making it through. Don't worry too much on other people, really just practise the material they've sent you as much as possible. At the end of the day, as long as you've done your best...
