The Heart of Wales Day Ranger is £39, for 2days £59. Allows one circuit from any station en route. eg Abergavenny to Swansea to Shrewsbury via HOW to Abergavenny.

I know doubling back isn't allowed but as the ticket is valid to Shrewsbury is doubling back allowed between Shrewsbury/Church Stretten & Craven Arms? Or is this only allowed when purchased from Shrewsbury or Church Stretten to get you back to your origin station. I'd like to go Abergavenny...

I've booked Manchester Picc to Dublin sail rail. The train arrives at Holyhead at 1120 for the 1150 Swift ferry departure. The minimum check in for foot passengers is 30minutes. I notice the 1155 & 1355 ex Sheffield going south are HST's on Real Time Trains. Is this likely to be correct as they are 'planned services' on RTT. Date I was looking is Saturday 22 October for a trip SHF to Taunton.

If the booked train is late can I use an earlier service, for eg if I have to get to my destination for an appointment and the late booked service wouldn't get me there in time?
