I'd ban or curb these so called Facebook 'stirrers' such as Callum Lyon, constantly moaning about cost of living food etc but in many cases completely exaggerating or making up the figures. Moaning about fuel too, anyone remember back in 2022 when it hit nearly £2 per litre? Another thing they...
Fantastic. With as stated on the 810 diagrams thread 4th diagram starting next week that be 6 passenger accepted units to cover 4 diagrams. Any news on 810015 delivery? Many thanks.
Annoying thing about Ebay is how they boast it's free to sell. Of course it's not as they'd not make any money. I recently sold a pair of trainers there the buyer paid postage and buyer protection fee which of course is kept by Ebay.
Even if XC could swap these ex Avanti 221s with same number of 220s that would be still an increase in capacity less 4 car 220s around but wouldn't cost a lot or need more traincrew.
I had 114 last Tuesday on the 16.12 from Birmingham between Hinckley and Leicester. It was like a rocket in performance. Wonder if anyone else noticed this with refurbed ones or is 114 just a sprightly unit?!
Yes my wrong of course yes it's FA Cup. If we win on Sat we'll only get slaughtered if we get a PL team in the next round but knowing Leicester we'll win Sat but continue to lose league games!
Another poor performance by Leicester City last night. 3-0 up at half time but conceded 4 in 2nd half without scoring again so ended 3-4! Was against Southampton who we play in the Caraboa Cup away on Sat.
Regarding your last bit, i read recently in Today's Railways UK that there are only 5 diagrams that dont involve splitting or joining at some point of the day so until multiple working gets allowed 5 is max passenger diagrams.
Had some spare time earlier so popped into M&S at Fosse Park. Looked at some prices, individual Lemons, Limes, Aubergines, Pears all way more pricey than other supermarkets, own brand sweets well more too, I thought M&S were supposed to be competitive on price?!
Good question, many of us be asking this.
GWR is quite lucky now as they can short form and run 150s on former 4 car HST diagrams as demand is much less in winter in Devon and Cornwall but come Easter onwards more trains need to be available.
I visited my local Hinckley Asda today as I wanted to use up my gift card balance. What can I say? What a miserable, dull depressing store it's got now, practically empty, about 2 people in the cafe' and this was around 14.30, only one staffed till open but no long queue for it. Got what I...
I visited my local Poundland earlier. While some prices were very good I was amazing at how pricey some items were (such as £2 for Fry's Turkish Delight, cheaper in Asda, Morrison's, £1 Fox's Party Rings etc). Many grocery items were pricier than the supermarkets plus the smallest Easter Eggs...
