    A Matter of Morals

I don't think any non-religious married couples think sex is the be-all-and-end-all, which you seem to be implying.

    London Victoria Station

    It certainly won't say £2.20!

    A Matter of Morals

I agree entirely. The women are happy and willing participants. If they have no problem what they're doing then who is anyone else to be offended on their behalf?

    A Matter of Morals

I've seen the photo now and I honestly cannot believe that anyone would find that offensive. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Reading between the lines, I don't think the picture would've been removed had Ian not requested it. I don't believe the mods had any objections.

    A Matter of Morals

I haven't seen the picture, but I'm quite sure these girls weren't forced to dress the way they did at gunpoint or anything. While of course some women find such outfits degrading, others are ambivalent and some even find them empowering. As I say, I haven't seen the picture so I can't judge...

    Platform 17 at Clapham Junction

It's officially an SWT station but staff from both TOCs are present and numerous. Contact Southern if anyone, it's their train on their platform.

Can I use an anytime return more than once?

I've had a return portion dated before, but never with a headcode as well.

Excuse me - my Tickets Gone....

I once arrived at a station very early. I bought my return ticket but decided to leave the station to visit the shop across the road and put the return portion in the barrier to leave the station... It was only upon returning from the shop I realised I'd lost my ticket. Typically, an...

    P C Mouse query

I suggest trying a different USB port first if you haven't yet, although I agree it's probably knackered. You can a half decent mouse for under a tenner these days.

    Would this help?

Will comment on the only TOC/area I know enough about to answer. Agreed. I'd like to see a SN/LM joint service between Brighton and Birmingham but I have no idea if the paths exist. I'm sure getting 350's cleared to Brighton and 377s to Birmingham wouldn't be too problematic. I don't...

    Major disruption at London Bridge.

Signalling equipment on the Brighton side has been vandalised. Many Southern services cancelled or diverted to Victoria. Thameslink running via Elephant for tube connection to London Bridge. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/sa7398bc418549ae9781c290285f8590/details.html...

Good news :) What route did you take in the end?

Disruption: Southern south of Clapham Junction

What train are you on radamfi, out of curiosity?
  14. C

    Liverpool/Chester - Southampton

I can say with about 99% certainty that it will depart from one of Platforms 15-19 at Victoria.

    Liverpool/Chester - Southampton

The crawl between Clapham and Croydon on the slow lines is tortuous though. I had to do it once when an advance ticket from Milton Keynes decided to make me change at Croydon for some reason. OP has decided to go into Victoria first anyway, which is probably the best idea as you aren't likely...

Southern Rail Trip Southampton Central to London Victoria

Apologies, when I say "uniform", I mean there'll be no Selhurst or Brighton allocated units, just one big pool. That was a poor choice of words on my part. It's still only a rumour anyway.

Southern Rail Trip Southampton Central to London Victoria

Some Selhurst units have 3+2 throughout with 2+2 in the ends of carriages only. Rumour has it the entire 4-coach 377 fleet becomes uniform from December :o

    Liverpool/Chester - Southampton

No need, just make sure you go from Platform 13 at Clapham and get on a green train and not a blue or white one from Platform 9. You'll need to go over a bridge or through a subway at either station too.

    Milton Keynes Central -Peterborough

Dayrider Golds around here are £7.70, while the Explorer ticket is £8.20 on Stagecoach buses. Brighton & Hove and Metrobus sell Explorers for £7  Even if someone in Brighton only wants Stagecoach that day they're better off buying the ticket on a local route first.

    Woolwich Dockyard to Milton Keynes

If you get the xx:46 Euston-Crewe on London Midland, it's only 38 minutes to MK which is barely any slower than Virgin. The xx:13 to Northampton only takes 41 minutes as well.
