10 and 12 car trains run on my line. I cant say I'm remotely bothered by the walk along the length of the train. It's not exactly a marathon. And as a previous post rightly identified, most regular commuters soon work out where there are likely to be vacant seats anyway.

Some new apartments just outside London Bridge have recently been sprayed from the lineside. The graffiti is in white paint with letters approximately 6ft high, including over the windows of the homes. It says "A.C.A.B" which I believe refers to all police officers being without parents...

I commute to get to and from work. I have no desire to "increase the socializing" during this part of my day.

Looks like still out in the street, although oddly it appears that one small lift might connect directly into the tube station. On reflection, presumably this is for disabled passengers who cannot hope to use the many steps.

Train movments near my house are noisy due to the rails seemingly having a wider "gap" than usual where connected. If they could be repaired this would improve things immensely. Well you did ask which is the most important project in MY opinion. :lol:

Wonder if the 375s will ever feature dark blue undercarriages at any point. The 465s and 466s had them added on after the "main" relivery and they look much smarter for it. The refurbed 375s look a little unfinished to me. But then with SE one never knows what variation of a livery might...

It's tricky to call. Most services at that time are indeed pretty empty - I used to live in Oxted so know from experience, albeit a few years ago. But you can get the odd one which fills up for no obvious reason - maybe a late running earlier service so a lot of folk cram onto the first East...

Can we try to move on from gross generalisations about weight, and perhaps pass comment on the rather more serious story about the late night on-train ill behaviour?!

A very sensible comment in my opinion. It can be very annoying when other people dont behave in a way that fits our own personal values, and spreading out over 2 seats for a late night McMeal probably fits that category in some way or another (if indeed that was the case - we'll never know...

Charmed I'm sure! Not having a pop, just trying to point out that challenging any person's outlook does occassionally elicit a rather terse reply. You dont mind suitcases on tables, others might well do. But your simple "Tough luck" isn't the nicest response.

Of course, a bulky suitcase plonked on the table in front of a passenger may well understandably annoy them somewhat too! :wink:

Not sure this is correct. I think the line numbers were "zeroed" when construction of the classic 737 ended, and the NG range began.
