There were Ukrainian coaches at Przemysl Station when I left on Thursday.
Przemysl is actually closer to the border than it looks, that's why it helped so many refugees when the war started.
I found and visited this small but interesting museum detailing the Przemysl forts - its well worth a visit

My train back to Krakow this morning (11.19 Przemysl Glowny to Krakow Glowny) has a Swiss Railway Panaromic Coach for 1st class passengers attached.
I am lucky to be seated in it !
I must admit I wasn't looking for Ukrainian trains by the time I got to Przemysl as I started at Manchester Airport this morning at 06.25 and got to Przemysl at 14.39 on time!.

As a Civil Servant of 30 + years (and not a member of ANY...

I watched Sunak`s Panaorma interview earlier and he was still banging on about tax cuts - he needs to realise that some people (like me) are quite comfortable with paying more tax as long as those who are on lower incomes and Public Services are properly funded.
( As a Civil Servant I earn £28k pa).
No.
It won`t make a difference to me as I know which way I will vote and it won`t be Tory here in Southport.
As the constituency boundaries have been changed since 2019 ( we have lost the Tory voting areas of Formby/Crosby and gained the Labour voting areas of West Lancashire upto Preston, its...
