Isn't the new franchise about to be announced for Wales and Borders? I understand that it will ne the W+B TOC that will be running the initial service(s) into Liverpool so perhaps any destinations other than Chester will be in that document?

Wasn't there also something called Goldenrail Holidays advertised at the older generation?

There is talk about it but I've not seen any designs etc. Curve is due for completion in June I believe when the signalling is completed. The new crossover is due earlier in the year at the Halton end. I think the Frodsham end is complete. New service due in December.
