on Feb 16th, 3 weeks late.. but now ready to begin on monday.. meaning of course the now hourly Chester - Euston service can begin
also a rumour that because of this, and a shortage of pendos, some off peak Euston - Bham services will be run by 5 car 221 voyagers until March 6th
just a quick question that ive been pondering for weeks but as yet im unsure
do all XC voyager services between New St and Temple Meads/Plymouth services leave new street via the cross city line.. ie five ways university selly oak etc... but obviously not calling at them? or via a different...
Euston is showing 1 train every 15mins to Watford Junction
up until 2.45am? and possibly beyond..
is this a one off? or do services usually run this frequent and that late? or is it due to engineering works, as the timetable does not show this
i cant see how a train every 15mins to...
have been around 8 - 10 a day from lime st - birmingham
and around 7-8 a day from crewe to euston
'' member of the train crew being unavaliable '' what a farce
i live close to a railway line, and you get constant freight trains usually at the same time passing.. is there any websites or info that tells you where and from they come / go too?
travelling lime street to newcastle... or driving
cheapest next day return sat - sun, is £66
however TP express do cheap fares ie liverpool to leeds.. leeds to newcastle
so techically with time and patience i could work out a cheaper fare
however wondered if anyone knew a website...
anyone know why until 25th of jan the liverpool services stop at crewe?
and also until the 25th jan the chester services are limited to euston to only a few per day?
is this due to engineering works?
Just intrigued really.. dont know how it works now..
but from Dec 14th theres 3 trains an hour to euston from manchester
1 via wilmslow, and the other 2 via stoke
the 2 via stoke, do they branch off at stone straight onto the trent valley line, or do they follow into stafford then onto...
due to engineering works between liverpool and crewe the other weekend i had to travel to manchester then onto new street!
anyway from manchester it was a direct XC service the 20.54 on a sat night!?
it was full, with people standing, but everyone was loud noisy, some ****ed etc! and i...
plan to do more routes in the future... etc which is needed
however the platforms arnt big enough for pendolinos
good or bad idea?
i think with the introduction of more euston - lpool services in the future, one in every 2 or 3 should stop at lpool south park for passengers travelling...
Im a frequent Merseyrail passenger
travelling from Spital to Liverpool James Street at a cost of 2.60 peak return
the trains are so busy you have to nearly always stand unless you join from the start of the service or nearby Ellesmere Port/Chester
do you agree those fares are far to...

recent years we have lost ::
Virgin Trains cross country to Reading
Virgin Trains to Poole/Bournemouth
ScotRail to Edinburgh
Arriva Trains Wales to Cardiff
Direct Services to Newcastle ( now just one leaving...
