XC Trains New St - South West Help

just a quick question that ive been pondering for weeks but as yet im unsure

do all XC voyager services between New St and Temple Meads/Plymouth services leave new street via the cross city line.. ie five ways university selly oak etc... but obviously not calling at them? or via a different route?

Yes, the CrossCountry Voyagers heading to the south-west will go along the south Cross-City line as well as the Class 170s to Cardiff Central. I have been on a few trains that have been diverted along the Camp Hill line but this is usually when there is a problem/engineering works on the Cross-City line.

D 2000 SuO, 2000 SSuX Bristol Temple Meads - Birmingham New Street
2100 SSuX Cardiff Central - Birmingham New Street
2008 SuX Paignton - Birmingham New Street
D 1555 SuO Penzance - Birmingham New Street
D1 1825 SO, 1825 SSuX Plymouth - Birmingham New Street [D1 = from 28 March 2009]
D 1905 SuO Plymouth / D 2200 SuO Bristol Temple Meads - Birmingham New Street
CrossCountry trains from Manchester Piccadilly to the Cheltenham line (except Sundays 1 February until 22 March 2009)
CrossCountry SSuO trains from the Cheltenham line to Manchester Piccadilly (except Sundays 1 February until 22 March 2009)

I think the first and last of the day go via Stourbridge and Kidderminster, at least they used to.

M-S, all of the xx42 departures, normally the ex-Manchester services depart from platform 1a and go out via Camp Hill.
