Euston is showing 1 train every 15mins to Watford Junction

up until 2.45am? and possibly beyond..

is this a one off? or do services usually run this frequent and that late? or is it due to engineering works, as the timetable does not show this

i cant see how a train every 15mins to watford relates to the closure of the WCML between Euston and Hemel overnight?

Watford to Euston Overground services runs on the DC Lines that run mostly parallel to the Overhead 'Mainline' which is used by London Midland & Virgin.

While the West Coast Modernisation is taking place at Night requires the Overhead Line Tracks to be under possession and therefore closed, while the DC Lines remain unaffected and continue to operate throughout the night. Sometimes this isn't the case such as if there making repairs to the DC Lines or doing work in conjunction the Mainline.

According to TfL the DC lines were also suspended when the fast & slow lines were closed for engineering works.

Last night? Cos the wires covered onto the DC lines when they came down.

Anyway the last LO train from Euston is the 0044 service to Watford.
