I was wondering what are the line speeds between Aberdeen-Glasgow/Edinburgh as have searched the net but not been able to find the information. Thanks in advance for your help.

I agree that there should be help points on every platform as it would help when say the ticket office is closed during what would normally be it's opening hours(staff sickness ect) which can be unavoidable sometimes.

Dundee station is free yet the bus station is 30p but the way I see it is that charging for using facilities should be illegal in my personal opnion.

Not a Virgin operated station but Glasgow Central which the Glasgow-London service starts from has ticket barriers though not on to the platforms usually used for these trains, platforms 1 & 2 which I assume would be easy to add barriers to if required

I agree as travellers getting off at Queen Street either have to walk or take the bus to Central just now

having used both East Coast inc the 225's and the Virgin Pendo's I will admit I like both but Virgin win it for me, first time I was on a Pendo I fell in love with them.

I must admit that's why I like Virgin, for there humour both at stations and on-board as it lightens the mood when your travelling

I just wish NR wouldn't leave the Aberdeen-Dundee until practically last as if I'm right but not sure if I am, we're always the last to get things like electrification done. I long for the day when the only HST's up here will be the XC Voyager and Super Voyagers.

Well I've found another station missing a platform, Stirling starts with Platform 2 and not a sign anywhere of Platform 1, is there any other stations apart from here and Temple Meads that skip platform numbers?
