I hope this is in the right place, can anyone tell me what has happened to the Scotrail First Advance tickets? Do they not do them anymore? Thanks for your help in advance
I'd certainly like to see something done about Montrose including the forementioned doubling of the line and also the electrification to Edinburgh/Glasgow
Sounds to me like staff not paying attention as surely there would have been announcments that it was late or depending where they were standing wouldn't the information be on the departure boards?
I don't know if this is the correct place for this. Last time I was down at Montrose they still had the "Scotrail operated by First" sign on the fence on Platform 2 and was wondering is Montrose the only station still with a First sign?
This may be slightly cheating but Montrose after the Marquis of Montrose as it would be technically correct as that's where the town got it's name I believe
A very strange one you may think but here goes, which stations in the UK still have a canopy? I can think of Aberdeen, Arbroath, Dundee, Perth and Crewe, that's 5 to get you started.
I like my home station of Montrose though wish it still had it's canopies which I miss but it is a favourite of mine but my overall favourite is like many other Glasgow Central though I will admit I like both high & low levels and always use it when travelling to Hyndland as prefer it over Queen...
Not sure if it's been mentioned here, I was at this station and was thinking how some of it is a bit dark and could do with some extra lighting, does anyone else agree?
Also posters at the mainline stations warn that trains may close there doors up to 2 minutes prior to departure, I think that's mainly at the terminus stations.
