    Skywards Rail : Avoid

Atomised appear to be the entity ultimately issuing all the tickets; there's a proud "Powered by Rail Europe" on the bottom of every ticket. So presumably Emirates Skywards --> Junction --> RailEurope --> Atomised. If there was any API client accreditation before this went live, it wasn't...

Expansion of LNER 70-min flex trial area ("Simpler Fares")

Which wouldn't be so bad if stations had better facilities for waiting around, but you're lucky if you even manage to find somewhere to sit down at Euston when it's busy.

Chiltern planning to introduce seat reservations - Survey

I'm sure retailers would be happy to look at giving passengers the ability & nudging them regarding a need to cancel/rearrange reservations if that was a direction the industry wanted to go in. It has to be better than the status quo of passengers being given reservations they don't want and...

    PlusBus Tickets

Assuming these are Ticketer (I think they are), please let customer support know exactly when you scanned it and the bus/route, and we can try and get this fixed

Expansion of LNER 70-min flex trial area ("Simpler Fares")

You create a giant single point of failure on a service which: Doesn't have any actual on-call coverage (from engineers who can fix infrastructure) for if problems happen out-of-hours Isn't owned by the rail industry (is "rented" from a third-party supplier) Goes down for hours when a TLS...

Rail & Sail tickets to Orkney - Impossible to buy?

I think most retailers would much rather see E-Ticket acceptance than anything else that relies on paper tickets. This is what's (hopefully) happening for some other non-rail tickets. A TRANSFER fixed link is usually meant to indicate "at own expense" (except when it doesn't mean that - e.g...

Rail & Sail tickets to Orkney - Impossible to buy?

Pleasantly surprised they thought it all through. Hopefully it works out for OP next month

Rail & Sail tickets to Orkney - Impossible to buy?

What makes you think the taxi transfer is included in the price of the ticket? Edit: Oh wow, I hadn't seen that on ScotRail's site. Hopefully it's an agreement that isn't a bygone relic, and something they'll still honour!

    Query on Southern S-Ticket

Yeah, seems to be in place on the V3/classic site but I don't think was implemented elsewhere - I'm not really sure why!

Rail & Sail tickets to Orkney - Impossible to buy?

One of Raileasy's customers successfully travelled using a walk-up Northlink ticket to Orkney (Kirkwall on the NL2 service, rather than Stromness - but same island and same ferry operator) about a fortnight ago. These are pure TUAG, walk-up tickets and no ferry coupon or reservation is required...

    Query on Southern S-Ticket

I am unaware of any such limitation.

Expansion of LNER 70-min flex trial area ("Simpler Fares")

What's an advanced service out of Euston?

    PlusBus Tickets

For what it's worth it'd be about 10 minutes of dev work for the Chinese retailers to implement exactly the same logic. And really, it shouldn't need RDG updating the specification and forcing compliance via the accreditation process, if you've ever been on a bus in the UK with a Ticketer...

    Query on Southern S-Ticket

I'd thought that TfL owned all the intellectual property related to contactless - which on the face of it seems like a very sensible thing to do to avoid vendor lock-in - so I'm quite surprised we're stuck in this position where there is effectively no choice. Perhaps there is something...

Severn Valley Railway to trial commuter services

Agree completely with this (& it was my first thought upon seeing this thread!) Hopefully we'll see a PAF concerning it soon, I'm sure there are TPRs interested in retailing the fares provided the aspects you mention are set-up properly.

    Misuse staff pass

Do TfL not hotlist lost/stolen staff passes so they immediately fail to operate the gateline? Of course, that presumes the staff member in question noticed they'd lost it and reported it accordingly, but on the face of it it's pretty wild to me it worked for nearly an entire month.

    PlusBus Tickets

Display it in the TrainSplit app (for tix purchased from the forum's site), it suppresses NFC when tickets are being displayed.

    PlusBus Tickets

Cheers, I'll ask what they think the status is first. If they think it should work, the scan times are useful. If it's not been set-up at all (what I suspect), they just need to .. set it up, and it's kind of to be expected it's not working!

    PlusBus Tickets

I chased Whippet's status with Ticketer and got told it was being set-up on Thu, 2 Jul 2026. I will chase again. Separately, I have been made aware that Brighton & Hove is not working reliably. Ticketer aren't able to investigate further and want the operator to raise the issue with them...
