Anybody know if they are using proper coaches with loos between Carlisle and Glasgow or are they just double decker buses?

I notice one or two saying EC trains are horrendously overcrowded at the moment. Are Virgin still putting out seat reservations or is just one massive bun fight for a seat. I'm on the 0930 KX to Edinburgh Friday week with a 1st advance, so I am hoping it might be a bit quieter.

Does it really take 2 hours from time of booking tickets online for them to be ready for collection from a fast ticket machine? With Cross Country's website it says just 15 mins while others the full 2 hours. With technology nowadays, 2 hours seems pretty excessive.
