Last claim I put in for with GWR was rejected, I appealed and miraculously it was accepted. Makes you wonder if they reject many other claims to try and put people off appealing. Wouldn't put it passed them.

Could have been a few passengers on the train with very tight connections at their next stop that will be very pleased the guard didn't wait. It's up to the passengers to make sure they get to their station on time. We all want trains to run to time, it's how things will run smoothly for passengers.

The national rail live departures for Fratton actually noted that it left ten mins early. That's what baffled me at the time. Still, to be expected when Southern are involved I suppose!

Turned up at Fratton just now to catch the 1119 to London Victoria to find it departed ten minutes early! How can this be allowed to happen?

Just curious, wondering if anybody in the know could say why trains heading between these stations seem to go quite slowly now. I think it's been a couple of months that this has been the case. Hilsea to Fratton seems ok though.

Is it just me or is platform one at Fratton always dodgy when it comes to health and safety. From around the newer bridge down to the staff area block it usually has numerous broken and uneven paving and today, with a bit of rain, deep puddles really close to the platform edge. Suprised Network...

I suppose the motorways are just as bad sometimes as the railways for getting players to games. However last year i went to Maidstone v Macclesfield for an evening game. The away team and supporters were at the ground. Game was called off because the HOME team couldn't get there in time!!
