I just got an Epsom (Southern Only) + Z1-6 Travelcard on my Southern Key ITSO card. It seems to operate tube gates as fast as Oyster, and the journey history shows up on the web page within half an hour, rather than next day for Oyster.
In the East Midlands Trains franchise agreement, it mentions that EMT are required to trial flexible ITSO ticketing. Does anyone know if this has happened or will happen?
National Express West Midlands have finally launched their version of the Centro Swiftcard.
At the moment it's only available as a seperate card to the existing Swiftcard, holding 5, 10 or 15 Daysavers, covering either Coventry or the whole of the operating area.
C2C Smart is to be launched between West Horndon, Tilbury Town and Shoeburyness from 16th June, and the remainder of the c2c network including Travelcards from 13th October.

According to a poster at Gatwick Airport, the Key (Southern's smartcard) is now valid on First Great Western trains between Gatwick Airport and Dorking (Deepdene)
Southern have now introduced The Key between Dorking and Epsom.
They are also seeking to introduce it on First Great Western between Reigate and Dorking.
A new Oyster Travelcard extension menu is being rolled out to LUL TVMs.
Once an Oystercard has been touched, it presents a list of stations.
It then either states that the station is covered by the Travelcard, or that PAYG can be used, with an option to top up.
There are two exceptions...
Southern are trialling flexible season tickets - initially only for journeys from Brighton, Haywards Heath and Horsham to London Victoria.

Does anyone have any opinions as to whether the following would be i) valid and ii) accepted?
Using an Oystercard loaded with a Z1-6 Travelcard and a Southern Key card with a return from Coulsdon South to Gatwick Airport, on the Gatwick Express?
